15ft Bar Conversion

Container bars are a popular choice for businesses that need a flexible, space-efficient way to serve customers - whether in hospitality, events, education, or, in this case, the military. Their portability and adaptability make them ideal for many different settings.

This project began with a 20ft standard shipping container, which was cut down to 15ft to better suit the customer’s requirements. The result is a compact, purpose-built serving bar that’s both functional and easy to transport - perfect for events, pop-ups and temporary or space-restricted sites.

A full-width 8ft hydraulic serving hatch was fitted to the side of the container, allowing easy customer interaction and service. Inside, a fitted bench provides space for a kegerator, with an additional half-shelf installed below for storage.

The container also includes full internal electrics and LED lighting, allowing the space to function both day and night, as well as a personnel door with an internal fire escape bar for quick and safe access.

To complete the conversion, the exterior was first painted in RAL 9005 (black), then cladded to give the unit a clean, modern finish. This 15ft bar conversion shows how a compact container can be transformed into a fully functional serving space.
