40ft Open Top Shipping Containers
Overview
A 40ft open top container is built for loads that need overhead access or are too tall to handle through standard cargo doors.
The fixed steel roof is replaced with a removable tarpaulin, giving a clear opening across the full length of the unit for cranes or other lifting equipment.
This size is well suited to heavier or high-volume items such as machinery, timber, aggregates, scrap materials or bundled goods. The larger footprint offers twice the capacity of a 20ft open top container, making it suitable for projects where bulk loading or high-volume storage is required.
Each unit is constructed from Corten steel to ISO standards and includes internal lashing points to tie down loads securely during transport.
