We upgrade shipping containers with features from our Cleveland XTRAS range to enhance storage, access, and usability. Options include ply lining and insulation, electrics and lighting, personnel doors, windows, racking, painting, and Grafo-Therm coating.

Shipping Container Storage Upgrades We Can Include

Upgrades can be combined to create the right layout and environment for your stored goods. Popular enhancement options include:

Racking: Maximises vertical storage, keeps equipment and stock organised, and makes inventory management faster and safer. Available in light or heavy-duty specifications, all racking is securely fixed to the container to prevent movement.
Electrics & Lighting: Interior and exterior lighting plus sockets for power tools or equipment, improving efficiency and safety on site.
Ply Line & Insulation: Regulates internal temperature, reduces condensation, improves aesthetics, and adds durability. 50mm PIR rigid foam insulation and 9mm hardwood ply lining come as standard, with optional Grafo-Therm anti-condensation coating.
Personnel Doors: Provides convenient access without opening full cargo doors, available in a range of sizes and with secure locking options. Can also serve as emergency exits or divide internal spaces.
Windows: Adds natural light and ventilation with secure finishes available.
Painting: Available in any RAL colour to match branding or site requirements.

If you require wider modifications such as roller shutters or relocated cargo doors, these can also be fitted by our team.

Generally, upgraded and modified containers are sold, not hired. Standard unmodified units are available for hire.
