A 10ft shipping container is half the size of a standard shipping container. This makes them a great option for small-to-medium sized storage requirements when space is at a premium.
These shipping containers are ideal for storage when you don’t have a lot of space to work with and can’t fit a standard 20ft Shipping Container in. These small 10ft containers fit into an area around the size of a standard parking space and are often used for secure storage units on building sites or at schools and colleges. Our customers tend to use our 10ft storage containers for holding general tools, site equipment, archive documents, and household goods.
These units are suitable for a broad range of industries, including construction, agriculture, self storage, firework shops, supermarkets, retail, leisure and sports clubs, chemical suppliers, and energy companies. Rest assured that our new 10ft shipping containers are all made to the highest quality. They are available in standard height, and all models are wind and watertight. Please note that 10ft used containers could be built with flat panel doors.

A 10ft container from us weighs approximately 1250kg. This makes these units considerably heavier than our small shipping containers – our 6ft containers weigh 450kg each, for instance – but much lighter than one of our 40ft standard containers, which have a weight of around 3,620kg each.
Inside one of our 10ft containers, you’ll find approximately 6.69m² of floor space.
This provides plenty of room for storing site equipment, tools, or household goods — depending on what you need the unit for.
The external height of a 10ft container from us measures in at around 8ft 6ins.
When inside one of our containers without any modifications being made to the unit, you will find the standard height available to be about 7ft 10ins.
