Cleveland Containers Celebrates Win at North East Young Professionals Awards

The Cleveland Containers team attended the evening of glitz and glam, celebrating the outstanding young professionals within the North East. 

As we waited with bated breath for the outcome of our four award nominations, the room erupted when Lewis was revealed as the winner.

The judges were impressed with Lewis' leadership and; that his work has seen the company enquiries grow by 47%, revenue increased by 67% and net profit increased by a huge 127%!

Lewis has recently celebrated seven years at Cleveland Containers, joining the firm in 2015 as a Marketing Manager. During his time with us, Lewis has helped Cleveland Containers grow to become the largest independent supplier of new and used shipping containers in the UK. 

On accepting his award, Lewis commented;

The main reason for our success is thanks to owners Johnathan and Jane for allowing me full autonomy. Just being able to try new things and to be outgoing with all our marketing. We're innovative with all our tactics and we've been the first in our market to do what we do.

We were named finalists for another three awards; Young Accountant of the Year, Young Apprentice of the Year and Young Professional Team of the Year. Congratulations to the winners; Nick Wilson from Robson Laidler, Savanah Benwell from Tilbury Douglas Construction and LeoVegas. 

Cleveland Containers will be attending the final two 2022 awards ceremonies this week. The North East Marketing Awards, where we’re shortlisted across two categories. And finally, the SME National Business Awards where Cleveland Containers are finalists over three categories including Family Business of the Year.
