A 50/50 Office Store is a versatile container conversion that divides a standard unit into two sections with a central partition - one designed as an office space and the other for secure storage. This dual-purpose layout gives teams a practical workspace alongside a dedicated area for tools or equipment, keeping everything in one convenient unit.

National Grid is a leading energy company responsible for delivering electricity safely and reliably across the UK. With large-scale infrastructure projects and teams working at multiple sites, they require practical on-site solutions that provide comfort, storage, and security.

To support its operations, our conversions team created a bespoke 50/50 Office Store from a 20ft standard container, equipped with a range of features from our Cleveland XTRAS range.

The unit features two PVC double-glazed windows with shutters, one in each section. 

Inside, both areas are fitted with full electrics and lighting for a bright, functional workspace. A central partition wall separates the container into a secure storage area and a comfortable office space. 

The office side includes a personnel door for easy access, while the storage side retains the original cargo doors, offering wide entry for larger equipment.

Now in use on-site, this 50/50 Office Store gives National Grid a practical, all-in-one unit that supports day-to-day operations. The office provides a comfortable, well-lit workspace, while the adjoining store offers secure and weatherproof storage for tools and equipment.
