Steelphalt is a leading supplier and manufacturer of high-performance asphalt products, with decades of experience delivering durable surfacing solutions across the UK. The team reached out to us looking for a practical way to expand their on-site storage capacity, without sacrificing valuable yard space. After discussing their requirements, we proposed a custom container solution that would be secure, easy to access, and simple to load and unload.

Our conversions team supplied two 40ft New One Trip High Cube Containers, placed on their site side by side. We installed large, chain-operated 18ft roller shutters along the long side of the units, providing wide, convenient access for handling bulky spares and materials. A manually operated lockbox was added for extra security.

We have found these containers to be a great solution to the storage issue that we had on site. These containers have enabled us to free up space in our yard that was otherwise used as a storage area and limited our usable space. The roller shutter doors enable easy access to the container with our Telehandler, allowing for safe loading/unloading of spares/materials in and out of the containers. We had great communication with Cleveland throughout the whole process of the manufacturing of the containers which enabled them to specifically suit our requirements.
