International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

We sat with Laura Moore (Facilities Director), Suzanne Elliott (Head Modular Sales) and Hayley Hedley (Head of Commercial) who were all appointed within the last year to discuss what it’s like being a woman in the construction industry.

Their arrival has reduced the gap between the proportion of male and female employees at Cleveland to 54 per cent male, 46 female.

Watch their video below to hear of their experiences working in a traditionally male-dominated industry and what their advice would be for women thinking about entering the construction sector.
