Chatterbox #8: Member Perks of the SSA UK
What are the benefits of being a member? Helen from the Self Storage Association UK gives us the lowdown in just 15 minutes.
It was great welcoming the Associations’ Operations Director, Helen Bourke, into the Chatterbox studio for episode 8 - Membership Matters: The Benefits of Joining SSA UK.
The SSA UK is a trade body that represents self storage operators and industry suppliers. It currently has over 600 members, which is growing each year as the self storage sector continues to boom.
There are a wealth of benefits available to SSA members including legal support, training sessions, networking events, and webinars as well as access to multiple other valuable resources.
Aside from covering member benefits, Helen explains what we can expect at this years’ highly-anticipated SSA UK conference taking place on the 16th and 17th April at the Telford International Centre.
Helen and Lewis also discuss our exciting Storers’ Den event which will be held on the eve of the conference, in partnership with Stora and Approved Business Finance. Various SSA UK suppliers have united to offer one self storage operator a support package worth more than £50,000, with the live event taking place at the Mercure Telford Centre Hotel on the 15th April.
