ESG Update on Earth Day 2024
On Earth Day, we’re providing an update on the initiatives we have undertaken to improve our environmental sustainability.
We take our responsibility towards a greener future very seriously at Cleveland, having introduced multiple schemes and actionable targets to help us on our journey towards becoming net zero. Below are just a few highlights that demonstrate our ESG efforts:
- Since partnering with Ecologi in 2022, we’ve supported the planting of 2,000 trees in total at reforestation projects across the globe.
- We've protected over 71,000 acres of the amazon rainforest with the Maisa REDD+ Project in Brazil with our carbon credits.
- We’ve recycled 27.8 tonnes of our waste and recovered 10.2 tonnes of material to reuse in the last six months.
- We use 100% renewable energy sources at our headquarters.
We are delighted with these results and continue to identify areas of improvement company-wide to aid our long-term objective of becoming a net zero business.
