20ft Side Opening Chemical Storage

The customer needed a container that was safe, accessible, and equipped for storing chemicals on-site. We converted a 20ft standard side opening container, providing the customer with full-length access along one side, making it easy and safe to load and unload chemicals. The unit was fitted with bunded flooring and a drain valve to contain any spills and protect the environment.

To ensure proper ventilation, we installed aluminium louvre vents and the container was fitted with lighting, heating, and sockets, allowing staff to work safely and comfortably inside.

We also added heavy-duty shelving along one long side to organise and secure chemical storage effectively. The roof was treated with Grafo-Therm anti-condensation coating, preventing moisture buildup and helping to maintain the integrity of the chemicals stored inside.

The completed 20ft side opening chemical storage container provides a safe, functional, and durable solution for the farm. It offers easy access, effective organisation, and environmental protection, making it an ideal example of how shipping containers can be customised for agricultural chemical storage.
