Hardwick Park, a popular North East visitor destination, required secure and versatile shipping container conversions to support ongoing projects and equipment storage.

Cleveland Containers supplied a range of upgraded storage and site accommodation units using modifications from the Cleveland XTRAS range to maximise space, improve organisation, and create reliable long-term solutions across the site.

Container Storage for a Conservation Area

Hardwick Park is located within a natural conservation area, therefore aesthetics were a key consideration throughout the project. The units were all finished in green RAL6007, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape and minimise visual impact.

Bespoke Container Solutions for Hardwick Park

Cleveland Containers supplied and upgraded several bespoke units for the site.

This included a 32ft Site Accommodation Unit, resprayed in green and fitted with three-tier racking throughout, along with electrics and lighting, creating an organised and practical space for tool and equipment storage.

They also received a 40ft High Cube Shipping Container fitted with a 36ft side roller shutter door and electrics, allowing quick, secure, and easy access for larger items and equipment.

Long-Term Container Storage for Site Operations

A further 10ft Shipping Container was customised with ply lining, Grafo-Therm treatment to the roof, lighting, and double sockets, helping to reduce condensation while providing a secure and well-lit storage environment.

In addition, four 40ft New (One Trip) High Cube Shipping Containers were supplied, each fitted with Grafo-Therm roof treatment, lighting, and electrics to provide durable long-term storage solutions for evolving site requirements.

Together, these bespoke container solutions provide Hardwick Park with secure, efficient, and flexible storage and operational space across the site, helping the team work more efficiently while maintaining a safer and more organised working environment.

My experience with Cleveland Containers was very positive. Eddie, Conversions Manager and Matthew in the Transport team were both approachable and easy to communicate with while arranging the works. There was a small snag, which Eddie resolved immediately, making the process much easier for everyone.

Matthew organised the delivery, and everything went smoothly with no issues. The delivery team, who I understand Cleveland regularly uses, were professional and efficient as well. The containers will now be used for storage, and we’re very happy with the outcome.
