Voltalia

Shipping container workshops are a smart and secure solution for teams working in remote or temporary locations. Built to last, easy to relocate, and adaptable to a range of needs, they’re widely used across multiple sectors.

For this project, we partnered with Voltalia, a global energy producer and service provider specialising in renewable power solutions. 

The build began with a 40ft tunnel container, selected for its double-end access that allows users to walk through the unit from end to end. This layout is ideal for active workshop environments, making it easier to move tools, materials, and equipment in and out efficiently.

Inside, we fitted a heavy-duty workbench with a mounted vice, providing a solid, practical space for everyday tasks and maintenance. The container was fully ply-lined and insulated, with two vents added to encourage airflow and reduce moisture build-up.

We also installed full electrics and lighting, ensuring the space is well-lit and usable all year round. Racking was added along both sides to help keep the unit organised and clutter-free, with four-tier shelving that maximises vertical space for efficient storage.

Now complete, the unit gives Voltalia a reliable, on-site workspace tailored to the demands of their operations.
