40ft Office and Workshop Containers

Our customer in the engineering sector required multiple container conversions to support their operations.

Cleveland Containers supplied three 40ft New (One Trip) Shipping Containers, converted into workshops, an office, and upgraded storage. All units were fully fitted with electrics and lighting to create practical, ready-to-use working environments.

Multi-Level Container Workspace 

To maximise available site space, two of the 40ft shipping containers were stacked to create a multi-level workspace solution.

The lower container was converted into a cutting workshop and storage area, partitioned into two separate working zones. One section is accessed via a personnel door and fitted with racking, steel workbenches, and a serving hatch bench to support day-to-day operations and tool organisation.

The second section retained the original double cargo doors for easy access to larger equipment and materials. This area included additional workbenches, an acoustic cutting bench, and space for a drill bench, which had been removed and boxed for transport at the time of delivery.

Access to the upper-level container office was provided via an external staircase positioned centrally along the side of the unit. The office container was fitted with three shuttered windows and a personnel door, creating a secure and practical workspace overlooking the site.

Internally, the office was furnished with eight desks, drawers, and chairs, creating a comfortable and organised working environment for office-based staff and project management teams. 

Upgraded 40ft Shipping Container Storage

Alongside the stacked conversion, Cleveland Containers also supplied a separate upgraded 40ft shipping container for secure on-site storage.

The unit was internally partitioned to create multiple storage areas. Entering through the cargo doors, staff are greeted by a countertop with an access hatch leading into the main storage section. Beyond the hatch, two rows of four-tier racking run along either side of the container, maximising storage while maintaining easy access to tools and materials.

At the rear of the unit, a personnel door leads into a separate enclosed storage room with additional shelving, providing secure and organised long-term storage for smaller items and equipment.
